Spencer’s was founded in 2021 by Doug Spencer Ashby who is the third generation of his family to work in the butchery trade, serving catering and retail customers across London.

11 Cranley Parade has been the home of a neighbourhood family butchers in the Mottingham area since the 1970’s, from Bob’s Butchers to Mick’s Family Butchers until 2021.

Now, Spencer’s at Cranley Parade combines Doug’s catering and restaurant experience and Mick’s quality and traditional butchery methods to create something new... Spencer’s is an independent neighbourhood butcher specialising in the best quality produce at all price ranges. Where possible we source from local farms and meat producers in the UK.
